Deadline for Submission of the Company Income Tax Return and Summary Table of Controlled Transactions for the Year 2022 – Imposition of Administrative Penalty and Financial Surcharge
The Tax Department informs that, according to a Decree of the Council of Ministers (K.D.P. 359/2024) dated 8/11/2024, 28 February 2025, is the final deadline for the timely submission of:
a) The Income Tax Return for the Tax Year 2022 by a person who, based on the provisions of Article 33(10) of the Income Tax Law N118(I)/2002, as amended, is required to submit a Summary Table of Controlled Transactions; and
b) The Summary Table of Controlled Transactions (according to paragraph 5(a) of K.D.P. 314/2022) for the year 2022.
It is clarified, however, that by decision of the Tax Commissioner, no financial surcharges will be imposed, provided that compliance with the above tax obligations occurs by 31 May 2025.
Submission after 31 May 2025, will result in the imposition of an administrative penalty and financial surcharge as follows:
- An administrative penalty of €500 for the late submission of the Summary Table of Controlled Transactions for the tax year 2022.
- A financial surcharge of €100 for the late submission of the Company Income Tax Return for the tax year 2022.
